Job summary

Holman is seeking a Process Control Specialist to join our Ft. Wayne, IN team. The role focuses on implementing process improvements to enhance safety, product quality, and efficiency, with on-site duties on the shop floor.

You will develop documentation and training to standardize practices, apply lean methods, and work closely with Design Engineering, Operations and Shops to drive cost savings and quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in Operations, Manufacturing, Quality, or Engineering.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Access, Project and PowerPoint.
• Associate’s Degree in Technical Field preferred (Engineering Technology, Product Design, Manufacturing Technology).

Responsibilities

• Implement process improvements to ensure safety, improve product quality, reduce installation time and cost.
• Create documentation and training tools defining shop standards and best practices across processes.
• Apply lean concepts including standardized work and problem solving methodologies.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering, Account Management, Operations and Shops.
• Assist in upfitting work trucks and vans with aftermarket equipment.
• Lead lean initiatives and cost-saving efforts and support Quality team.
