Job summary

Stonhard is seeking a Process Engineer in Fort Wayne, IN to evaluate and improve manufacturing processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The role includes leading root cause analysis, developing standard work, and supporting maintenance with troubleshooting.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's in engineering, 5+ years in manufacturing (GMP preferred), and experience with PFMEA, CI methods, and MES/PLC knowledge. This is an on-site role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering; Lean or Six Sigma preferred but not required.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience, preferably GMP environment.
• Strong problem solving and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead root cause analysis for process failures.
• Develop and maintain standard work instructions.
• Develop and maintain PFMEA for areas of responsibility.
• Improve production line efficiency and OEE.
• Support maintenance with equipment troubleshooting.
• Lead CI initiatives in 5S, waste reduction, and value-stream mapping.
