Job summary

Holman in Ft. Wayne IN is seeking a Process Control Specialist to implement process improvements that enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.

The role involves creating training materials, standardizing procedures, and collaborating with Design Engineering, Operations, and Shops to optimize upfitting of vehicles. The position requires 2–5 years in Operations, Manufacturing, Quality, or Engineering, proficiency with MS Office, and a technical Associate’s degree.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Access, Project and PowerPoint.
• Associate’s Degree in Technical Field preferred (Engineering Technology, Product Design, or Manufacturing Technology).
• Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, Lean experience and formal training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement process improvements to ensure safety, improve product quality, reduce installation time and cost.
• Create documentation and training tools defining shop standards and best practices.
• Utilize lean concepts including standardized work, problem solving, and material handling.
• Work closely with Design Engineering, Account Management, Operations and Shops.
• Support upfitting of work trucks and vans with custom parts and aftermarket equipment.
