Job summary

Reddy Ice is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to ensure reliable operation of plant equipment. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic data analysis to drive continuous improvement.

The role requires reading blueprints and applying lean principles to reduce downtime and improve processing times. The ideal candidate has 6-8 years in industrial maintenance and holds a recognized maintenance certification.

Qualifications

6-8 years of work experience in an industrial maintenance operation.
Maintenance Certification from one of the listed authorities (Electrical/Plumbing/Mechanical).
Preferred: two of the listed certifications or a high school diploma/GED.

Responsibilities

Conduct preventive maintenance on production equipment; troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment.
May operate processing machinery and minimize downtime.
Read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation for maintenance of equipment.
Understand water plant operations and equipment such as Ice Makers, Compressors, Heat Exchangers, Ammonia and Freon systems, Pumps.
Ensure equipment is functional and supplies are ready; manage parts inventory.
Assist with basic data analysis for root cause identification.
