Job summary

Reddy Ice Holdings, Inc. in Carson, CA seeks an operations lead and apprentice level maintenance technician to support reliable plant operations. You will monitor equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot production systems to minimize downtime.

You will apply lean tools and root-cause analysis to identify improvement opportunities and collaborate with the Plant Manager and team to sustain safety and quality in ice production.

Qualifications

• Must have 2-4 years in industrial maintenance.
• High school diploma or GED required; related certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor equipment daily and operate processing machinery.
• Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and repair malfunctioning equipment.
• Read blueprints, schematics and technical docs for maintenance tasks.
• Ensure equipment is functional and supplies are ready for production.
• Assist with bagging product and support production workflow as needed.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and participate in Kaizen/VSM activities.
