Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical Engineering.
3–5 years in an engineering or operations role.
2 years using LEAN and/or Six Sigma methodologies.
Value Stream Mapping experience required.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and quality standards.
Ability to interpret and relay drawing specifications and programming commands.
Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

Optimize production processes to deliver cost savings, improve quality and support new product capabilities.
Improve process efficiency and utilization of labor, energy, and materials.
Analyze workflows to streamline processes and maximize productivity while promoting safety.
Identify bottlenecks and devise solutions to resolve them.
Research new manufacturing technology and prepare proposals for management.
Monitor production records and maintain documentation.
Ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines through proactive solutions.
Implement LEAN, equipment reliability, and automation in plant operations.
Lead projects from design to installation and commissioning.
Track maintenance KPI's (MTBF/MTTR) and equipment reliability.
Diagnose equipment breakdowns and implement CAPA to minimize downtime.
Communicate with operators and management to align on improvements.
Develop 2D/3D drawings and CAD designs.
