Job summary

Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. seeks a production scheduling professional to determine labor and machine resources, set time standards, and monitor capacity to support the production plan. The role requires building and using time standards and reporting on capacity constraints to overcome them.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of experience and the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Clearance. A Bachelor’s Degree and lean-methodology familiarity are preferred, with strong analytical and communication

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Familiarity with Lean principles (VSM, JIT, Kaizen, Six Sigma).
• Strong communication and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Determines labor and machine resources to accomplish production tasks.
• Uses time standards to measure, monitor, and adjust resource capacity.
• Develops and uses time standards.
• Reports capacity constraints and proposes solutions to meet the plan.
• Performs detailed shop scheduling and reporting to support downstream customers.
