Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division seeks a MFG Engineering Technician for 1st Shift to support Manufacturing Engineering through Lean concepts and industrialization of products. Core hours are 7am-3:30pm. The role initiates and follows projects, performs general engineering duties, and supports ECIS initiatives with minimal supervision.

Salary starts around $24/hour with growth opportunities. Candidate will design and implement Lean lines, lead continuous improvement events, and perform time

Qualifications

• Associate degree completed or in progress (May 2026).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration visas for this position.
• No relocation benefit; within a 50-mile radius of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Lean continuous flow assembly lines to reduce cycle time and improve efficiency.
• Lead Kaizen and Rapid Improvement Events with cross-functional teams.
• Conduct GEMBA walks, plant audits, and Tier Meeting participation to identify improvement opportunities.
• Apply Eaton Lean System tools to support cost reduction and operations excellence initiatives.
• Perform Lean analyses including time studies, setup reductions, and 5S audits.
• Support manufacturing engineering and ECR/PDP processes including standard work and training.
