Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is seeking a MFG Engineering Technician for 1st shift in Royal Pines, NC. The role focuses on Lean manufacturing initiatives, continuous improvement, and engineering support for new and existing products. You will lead Kaizen events, perform time studies, and implement process improvements with minimal supervision.

The position emphasizes independent judgment within assigned responsibilities and a strong Lean toolkit to drive efficiency and cost reductions.

Qualifications

• Associate degree completed or expected by May 2026.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• No immigration sponsorship or CPT/OPT/STEM OPT support.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Lean Continuous Flow assembly lines to reduce cycle time and improve efficiency.
• Lead Kaizen and Rapid Improvement Events with cross-functional teams.
• Conduct GEMBA walks, plant audits, and Tier Meeting participation to identify improvement opportunities.
• Apply Eaton Lean System tools to support cost reduction and capital projects.
• Perform time studies, setup reductions, and 5S audits.
• Support ECIS, standard work development, and operator training.
• Execute hands-on improvements like workstation enhancements and layout changes.
