Job summary

MasterBrand Cabinets LLC is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee shop floor activities, ensuring quality, safety, and on-time delivery. You will supervise 30+ hourly staff, drive standard work, and mentor operators to optimize productivity.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, batch reviews, and coordinating with teams to reduce downtime while maintaining safety and cost controls. Some extended hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree or trade schooling preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of supervisor experience in manufacturing.
• Quality experience a plus.
• Bilingual a plus.
• Proficiency in basic math skills.
• Excellent communicator, both verbally and written.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office.
• 6-S & Lean Manufacturing experience a plus.
• Knowledge of machinery and packaging equipment a plus.

Responsibilities

• Effectively work and communicate with a team to continuously improve quality, safety, efficiency, and productivity.
• Oversee production lines, review downtime causes and be actively involved in issues on the floor by assisting in troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Create, maintain and audit Standard Work to ensure process consistency and efficiency.
• Develop, mentor and manage manufacturing personnel, ensuring they are properly trained to utilize equipment and tools effectively.
• Supervise up to 30+ production hourly employees.
• Review, adjust and approve timesheets and adjust workforce based on workload.
• Promote and maintain clean, safe work area throughout the plant by proactively identifying and addressing the hazardous conditions.
• Follow company policy and procedures (safety, quality, productivity, discipline, order, human resources, and continuous improvement).
• Lead production employees in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Some extended hours & weekends as necessary
• Support additional lines, as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
