Job summary

Klein Tools is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to supervise, plan, and direct daily cell operations to ensure continuous production and delivery of products meeting customer requirements. This role coaches and mentors staff, oversees safety, and leads lean initiatives for best-in-class performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 3 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred; 1 year manufacturing exp recommended.
• Lean tools (6S, Kaizen), OSHA, DEQ, and EPA regulations knowledge.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Production Reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate work group activities, schedule work, assign machines to meet schedules.
• Record performance data and send a daily report with updates and issues.
• Conduct training for Manufacturing Team Members on equipment and procedures.
• Motivate and lead team members with coaching and development opportunities.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and escalate major ones as needed.
• Collaborate with Operations and Lean groups to set KPIs and lean initiatives.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain to maintain supplies and process purchase requisitions.
• Follow company policies and maintain a safe, orderly department.
• Participate in lean manufacturing activities to improve products and skills.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
