Job summary

Klein Tools in Trevose, PA is seeking a Department Leader for CNC Mill Lathe or Drill Press to supervise workflow, train staff and drive process improvements in a high-precision manufacturing environment. The role focuses on quality, efficiency, and team leadership within a fast-paced shop.

You will collaborate with supervisors to set schedules, mentor operators, and uphold safety and quality standards while aligning with Klein Tools' values of quality, ownership, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must possess knowledge of basic math skills.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand basic English.
• Ability to learn, problem-solve, and make decisions per work instructions and documents.
• Ability to communicate and work as a team member and team leader.

Responsibilities

• Review work center procedures and prepare work schedules within the department.
• Train and mentor new employees and review methods for efficiency.
• Perform job setups as needed and ensure conformance to specifications.
• Improve efficiency through set-up reduction and optimized workflows.
• Fulfill duties of a level III operator across assigned machines.
