Kirby Risk Service Center in Lafayette, IN seeks a Project Engineer to support customers and resolve manufacturing issues. You will assist with design, assembly, and production readiness, using Lean and QS practices to ensure quality and repeatability.

This onsite role emphasizes strong communication and cross-functional collaboration with leadership and production teams. The ideal candidate has a technical degree, blueprints literacy, and experience with CAD/SolidWorks.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical field.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers.
• Demonstrate professionalism when representing the company.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail and organizational skills.
• MS Office proficiency; CAD or wire harness software.
• SolidWorks experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical assistance to customers in design, assembly, and manufacturing of new products.
• Prepare all new products for production using Lean Manufacturing and QS.
• Build customer products from prints.
• Analyze customer requirements to offer cost-effective solutions.
• Create product visuals and work instructions for production associates.
• Develop customer relationships to uncover opportunities and report feedback.
• Assist production with new builds.
