The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of supervisory experience; Lean methods and KPI tracking are essential.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent manufacturing experience may be considered.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with supervisory or team‑lead experience preferred.
• Experience leading hourly production employees in a high‑volume or engineered manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production scheduling, quality systems, and workplace safety.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and problem‑solving methodologies.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, coach, and develop production employees to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity objectives.
• Plan and coordinate daily production activities based on customer demand, production schedules, labor availability, and material requirements.
• Monitor production performance and KPIs, including safety, scrap, productivity, downtime, throughput, and on-time delivery.
• Ensure employees follow work instructions, SOPs, quality requirements, and safety policies.
• Maintain a strong focus on workplace safety and promote a proactive safety culture.
• Identify bottlenecks, downtime, quality issues, and process inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.
• Work with Quality and Engineering to investigate nonconformances and implement corrective actions.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous‑improvement initiatives (5S, standard work, waste reduction, visual management, root‑cause analysis).
• Coordinate with Maintenance to address equipment breakdowns, preventive maintenance, and recurring issues.
• Ensure appropriate staffing and labor allocation to meet production requirements.
• Train and cross‑train employees to improve workforce flexibility.
• Conduct shift meetings and communicate production priorities and handoffs.
• Review production reports and communicate performance and improvement opportunities.
