Job summary

Boyd Corp, based in Billerica, MA, is seeking a plant/production leader to oversee the daily production flow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will supervise 30–40 employees, hire/train, and deliver annual evaluations.

The role requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles, and working familiarity with HVAC, brazing, charging, electrical/mechanical assembly, and testing. First shift, on-site location in Billerica.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or Eng Tech with 10 years' experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience, 5–10 years preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and OSHA/EH&S.

Responsibilities

• Direct priorities and daily activities of 30–40 employees.
• Plan and manage factory resources to meet production schedules.
• Lead continuous improvement and root-cause corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality and Maintenance to prevent problems.
• Plan and report daily/weekly KPIs and scorecards.
