Boyd Thermal by Eaton seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer in Lancaster, PA. The role leads production-oriented projects, overseeing transitions from engineering to manufacturing, and drives process and product improvements across the plant.

The candidate will manage capex initiatives, develop fixtures and tooling with GD&T-compliant drawings, and contribute to technical writing, presentations, and customer-facing proposals. A hands-on engineering approach is encouraged.

Qualifications

• B.S. in engineering with 5–10+ years’ experience.
• Strong ability to write technical reports and proposals.
• Excellent oral and written communication, capable of delivering technical presentations.

Responsibilities

• Lead product transitions from engineering to production using SOPs.
• Improve manufacturing efficiency through workflow, space, and layout optimization (Lean).
• Lead capex projects and manage ROI discussions.
• Design fixtures and tooling with GD&T-compliant drawings.
• Prepare and present technical materials and proposals for customers.
• Support sales with data analysis, datasheets, and cost/bid information.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure on-time delivery and quality.
