Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to boost production efficiency by designing and refining manufacturing methods. You will collaborate with design, quality, and operations to implement cost-reducing improvements while maintaining safety standards.

The role requires 4+ years in manufacturing engineering, strong CAD/CAM/CAE skills, and hands-on experience with lean manufacturing and GD&T. Onsite with up to 15% travel, this position supports a broad range of industrial and life

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, Industrial or Mechanical engineering.
  • 4+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
  • Experience with design for manufacturability and process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Suggests, evaluates, implements & manages multiple manufacturing projects from beginning to end.
  • Develops machining processes on current or future assets.
  • Implements capital equipment selection and run-offs.
  • Maintains manufacturing best practices including lean manufacturing and tool technologies.
  • Leads special projects including NPD, insourcing, productivity and capital procurement.
  • Designs tooling, gages and fixtures using 3D modeling software.
  • Develops manufacturing routings internal and sub-con operations.
  • Leads machine tool installations and supports production troubleshooting.
