Job summary

CRH Americas Building Products is seeking a Manufacturing Process Improvement professional to lead lean initiatives and capital projects across the Mid-Atlantic region. This role will drive profitability, throughput and quality through continuous improvement.

Position will be located near one of our plants in Concord, NC, Raleigh, NC, Fuquay, NC, Fayetteville, NC, Avon, CT, Telford, PA, or Croydon, PA, with 75–90% travel to support regional operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing experience, ideally in precast.
• Deep knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Quality control/maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience with ERP/MRP and MS Office; strong project management skills.
• Effective team leadership in a matrix organization.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve production methods using lean tools.
• Identify opportunities to apply lean and capital investments.
• Provide training and guidance to plant teams in lean practices.
• Drive process change with cross-functional teams.
• Optimize plant layouts to reduce waste and costs.
• Lead capital project scopes and ROI analyses.
• Ensure compliance with Operational Excellence practices.
• Manage project budgets and expenditures.
