Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead complex initiatives that design, implement, and optimize production processes for higher productivity, quality, and cost efficiency. You will mentor engineers and drive continuous improvement across cross-functional teams.

The role focuses on enterprise manufacturing development, optimization, and readiness for new product introductions, including capital justification and automation integration.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years in manufacturing engineering or related
• Experience leading complex process improvements
• Experience supporting high-complexity new product introductions
• Root-cause analysis and sustainable corrective actions
• Capital justification and cost-reduction proficiency
• Strong communication and stakeholder management
• Mentoring engineers and leading cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-line manufacturing process development and standardization
• Drive Lean, Six Sigma, and operational excellence projects
• Support new product introductions with manufacturing readiness and tooling plans
• Analyze production data to identify issues and implement corrective actions
• Design and optimize layouts, material flow, and automation integration
• Justify capital equipment investments with ROI analyses
• Provide technical leadership during production or process failures
• Establish standardized work and process documentation
• Collaborate with quality, supply chain, and operations leadership
• Mentor junior engineers across projects
