The ideal candidate brings a mechanical/industrial/manufacturing engineering background with 5+ years in manufacturing, strong Lean/Kaizen

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
5+ years in a product manufacturing environment.
Lean and Kaizen principles proficiency.
Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills.
History of progressive responsibility.
Proficient with Windows OS and MS Office.

Responsibilities

Improves manufacturing processes for cost, quality, or efficiency with input from operators and suppliers.
Coordinates manufacturing launches for new/revised processes and equipment.
Documents ISO-compliant work instructions, training, and guides technicians.
Maintains knowledge through workshops and professional publications.
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Maintains technical data logs for manufacturing processes.
Uses engineering methods to troubleshoot product quality.
