Job summary

Jostens is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to drive efficiency and quality on the production floor. You will guide evaluation, installation, maintenance, and improvement of plant infrastructure and equipment, including automation, with Lean Six Sigma approaches.

Partner with multiple departments to deliver QCDS outcomes and coordinate with contractors for project execution. The role requires a BS in engineering and 3+ years in a manufacturing setting, with CAD proficiency (AutoCAD/SolidWorks)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and/or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of Engineering experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Excellent CAD design skills using AutoCAD/SolidWorks or similar.
• Proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Lean Six Sigma training or certification preferred.
• Experience with automation projects and manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Support plant infrastructure, equipment and automation initiatives.
• Collaborate with Maintenance to assess equipment needs and repairs.
• Perform PFMEA, SPC, and time/motion studies.
• Develop and manage budgets and vendor relations for projects.
• Lead continuous improvement and cross-functional projects.
• Assist with space planning and risk prevention activities.
• Provide production support and ensure safety compliance.
