Howmet Aerospace seeks a Manufacturing Manager in Hampton, VA to lead shop floor teams, drive CI and lean initiatives, and ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery. The role involves budgeting, cross-functional collaboration, and developing leadership across the manufacturing organization.

You will oversee production flow, implement improvements to reduce waste, and work with engineering to optimize processes for better performance and customer satisfaction.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 8 years in manufacturing with 5+ years in supervision.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship.
• Export-controlled data access and requirements apply.

Responsabilidades

• Provide day-to-day leadership to shop floor teams.
• Lead continuous improvement (CI) and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Improve planning, execution, and shop floor discipline.
• Drive cost reductions and improve profitability.
• Develop and train leaders, supervisors, and cell facilitators.
• Ensure safety, quality, delivery, and budget alignment.
• Collaborate with plant manager to set budgets and strategic goals.
