Job summary

Sealed Air’s Liquibox division in Lester Prairie is seeking a Production Manager to drive manufacturing processes and Lean Six-Sigma initiatives. You will support the Plant Manager, lead performance leaders, and supervise day-to-day operations on a morning shift, Monday–Friday.

Responsibilities include directing production planning, safety and environmental goals, and implementing improvements to increase efficiency, quality, and cost effectiveness across high-volume molding operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Technical and/or Finance discipline strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant manufacturing work experience.
• Molding experience required.
• Injection Molding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs all activities related to operations and production in accordance with Global Supply Chain's business plan and the strategic goals of the Company and business units.
• Collaborates with colleagues to achieve safety and environmental performance objectives for the department.
• Collaborates with Plant Manager and sets short- and long-term production goals for the site.
• Directs and manages the overall production plan for the operation.
• Communicates the Company's and Global Supply Chain's strategic goals and vision for site.
• Evaluates performance against production goals and adjusts allocations of resources to optimize quality and cost-efficiency.
• Leads Lean improvement projects and acts as the liaison between Lean teams and groups.
