Job summary

twiceasnice Recruiting is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Supervisor for a state-of-the-art facility in Reno, NV. This hands-on leadership role oversees a high-volume production team and drives safe, efficient operations.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of leadership in regulated manufacturing, experience with Lean and 5S, and a proven ability to improve KPIs while mentoring a team of about 75 staff.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing operations leadership experience.
• High-volume manufacturing experience.
• Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (medical device, aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, industrial automation, etc.).
• Lean Manufacturing, 5S, continuous improvement, and root cause analysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations for a high-volume manufacturing area.
• Supervise, coach, and develop a team of approximately 75 production employees.
• Maintain a hands-on presence on the production floor to support operations.
• Build production schedules, allocate resources, and ensure staffing meets operational demands.
• Monitor KPIs, identify performance trends, and implement corrective actions.
• Lead root cause analysis for quality issues, downtime, and production inefficiencies.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Manage departmental labor, overtime, and operating costs while meeting production targets.
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and employee engagement.
