Job summary

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and remain enrolled after the internship.
• GPA of 3.0 or above (verified at time of hire).
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Strong written and verbal communication with ability to collaborate.
• Leadership, problem-solving, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and eagerness to learn in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience applying Lean Six Sigma principles in a manufacturing environment.
• Support identification, analysis, and implementation of improvements with mentor guidance.
• Identify opportunities to reduce defects, rework, or process escapes through mistake-proofing.
• Evaluate process risks and support simple automation, sensing, or verification methods.
• Collaborate with design and operations teams to bring products to market efficiently.
• Work on projects including fixture development, line optimization, ergonomics/safety improvements, and process validation.
