Job summary

A growing manufacturing organization in Laurel, Mississippi is seeking an experienced Continuous Improvement Manager to lead Lean transformation and operational excellence initiatives across the facility.

This is a highly visible, hands-on, plant-floor-focused position for someone who enjoys identifying problems, working directly with manufacturing teams, and implementing sustainable improvements on the production floor.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Continuous Improvement or Lean Manufacturing.
• Experience leading Lean transformation in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of Lean methodologies and tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Spend time on the manufacturing floor identifying waste and bottlenecks.
• Plan and facilitate Kaizen events and Value Stream Mapping sessions.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to improve performance.
• Analyze KPIs such as OEE, throughput, downtime, quality, and cost.
