Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a senior Continuous Improvement professional for our Missouri-based plant. You will lead improvement teams, identify gaps in performance, and drive future-state plans across operations.

The role requires strong leadership, Lean certs, and the ability to apply statistics to optimize processes. You will collaborate with plant leadership to create a CI roadmap, coach frontline staff, and ensure process ownership involvement in software and team initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 5+ years in Continuous Improvement and 5+ years as frontline leader.
• Shows initiative and motivation to drive change.
• Strong leadership capable of vertical and horizontal management.
• Basic statistics knowledge and ability to apply statistics to process improvement projects.
• Certifications from a reputable lean leading company.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; able to exercise influence without formal authority.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint; Internet and Email proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach improvement teams within JCBS and across plant functions.
• Identify gaps, visualize future state, and drive implementation plans.
• Collaborate with plant leadership to develop a CI roadmap balancing resources.
• Ensure process owners are involved in SW development and team leadership.
• Drive safety performance and adherence to standards through continuous improvement.
