Job summary

Morbark, LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join the team and improve processes across production lines. You will lead technical analysis of manufacturing methods, design and direct tooling and equipment, and troubleshoot performance issues to maintain productivity and quality.

The role emphasizes lean practices, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on optimization of time studies, layouts, and workflow. Bachelor’s in Engineering is required; ERP and 3D modeling experience preferred.

• Experience conducting time studies and process optimization.
• Knowledge of quality control standards and manufacturing concepts.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical analysis of manufacturing processes to support management decisions.
• Design and direct the acquisition, design, fabrication and repair of tooling and machines.
• Troubleshoot day-to-day process performance issues, develop solutions and monitor improvements.
• Develop, evaluate and improve manufacturing methods leveraging best practices, materials, fabrication processes and production equipment capabilities.
• Validate process cycle times by conducting time studies and produce labor quotes for new assemblies.
• Lead process improvements and coach team members in the absence of the team leader.
