Qualifications

• Five or more years in operations, distribution and continuous improvement engineering.
• Ability to read/understand technical material, engineering drawings, and industry standards.
• Excellent analytical, reasoning, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to details.
• Able to adapt to changing priorities, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Design efficient process flow of raw materials, components and finished goods throughout warehouse.
• Analyze production lines to identify bottlenecks, reduce cycle times, and improve material flow.
• Lead LEAN initiatives including Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Kaizen events and root-cause problem solving.
• Conduct time studies, norm analysis, and SPC to track KPIs.
• Create and maintain work instructions, error-proofing devices, and SOPs.
• Partner with operations, engineering and supply chain to implement key initiatives.
• Develop KPIs to monitor improvements in assembly and distribution.
• Identify and recommend product improvements and designs meeting customer requirements.
• Produce CAD/CAM programs and train others on systems.
