Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Lean/continuous improvement experience.
• Root cause problem solving skills.
• Developing assembly processes, routings, and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost-out events and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
• Apply Lean-Manufacturing and Six-Sigma techniques to eliminate waste and reduce variation.
• Participate in concurrent engineering and design reviews to minimize costs and maximize life.
• Conduct Design for Manufacturing and value engineering initiatives.
• Develop work breakdown structures to estimate costs and identify savings.
• Contribute to new product development using program management tools to manage deliverables and schedules.
• Develop and integrate new processes and methodologies to provide competitive advantages.
• Prepare Capital Appropriation Requests with payback and NPV analyses.
