Legrand AV, Inc. in West Hartford, CT, is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to accelerate operational excellence. You will identify, prioritize, and execute manufacturing optimization initiatives that reduce cost, improve productivity, and strengthen process stability on the shop floor.

You will lead data-driven CI projects, facilitate Lean events, and develop standard work while delivering measurable savings aligned with business goals.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in industrial, manufacturing, mechanical engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years in Lean/CI manufacturing, CI engineering, or process improvement.
• Hands-on aptitude to evaluate layouts and shop-floor processes.
• Strong data-driven analytical skills to quantify improvements and verify results.
• Ability to lead or support productivity, waste reduction, and cost-saving projects.

• Lead high-impact CI projects to reduce cost and improve productivity.
• Identify and prioritize opportunities using data, time studies, and shop-floor observation.
• Drive adoption of Lean tools: 5S, Kaizen, Cellular Manufacturing, Kanban, SMED, Standard Work, Visual Management, VSM.
• Facilitate kaizen events and problem-solving with cross-functional teams.
• Optimize assembly, fabrication, and material flow for quality and efficiency.
• Evaluate work cells, layouts, tooling, and equipment utilization for productivity gains.
• Perform time studies and labor analyses to establish standard work.
• Lead/root-cause analysis for process issues and verify corrective actions.
• Partner with operations leadership to maintain a pipeline of improvement projects.
• Develop training on Lean concepts and sustainment behaviors.
