Job summary

Legrand AV, Inc. in West Hartford, CT, is seeking a Value Stream Manager to lead a manufacturing line, driving productivity, safety, quality and delivery in a continuous improvement environment.

You will plan manpower, equipment and space, track performance, and implement Lean initiatives while mentoring production supervisors and ensuring premium quality and customer service across the plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing operations, or related field.
• 5+ years manufacturing experience including supervisory roles.
• Strong Lean and continuous improvement background.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage priorities.
• Basic understanding of financial concepts (P&L, cash flow, working capital).
• Proficient with MS Office and ERP data reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead value stream team to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
• Maintain safe working environment and enforce OSHA/compliance.
• Plan manpower, equipment, and space for current and future needs.
• Collect and report data to track performance and drive root-cause analysis.
• Control labor, overtime, capital and operating expenditures.
• Eliminate waste with Lean tools and foster continuous improvement.
• Oversee production supervisors and provide training and development.
• Promote premium quality and customer service at all times.
