Job summary

Eaton's Aerospace FED division in Beltsville, MD seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead lean transformation and optimize manufacturing processes, including CNC programming, tooling implementation, and project management.

You will collaborate with product design on new tooling, drive continuous improvement through Kaizen events and 5S, and ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an accredited engineering field.
• Minimum of two (2) years of Engineering experience in a Manufacturing Environment.
• Minimum of two (2) years of CNC programming experience for milling and turning.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• Export-controlled information access requires U.S. person status as defined by U.S. law.
• No relocation benefit; candidates within 50 miles of Beltsville, MD considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement and lean implementation to reduce waste and costs.
• Identify opportunities, gather information, and implement actions to improve efficiency.
• Develop and maintain robust, cost-efficient manufacturing processes and product structures.
• Determine root causes and corrective actions for issues.
• Manage projects and conduct reviews to ensure timely completion and budget adherence.
• Implement methods to reduce variation and understand tolerance stack-ups.
