Job summary

Jobot, based in Huntsville, AL, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to own and optimize aerospace production processes. You will lead lean initiatives, work with engineering on design improvements, and develop clear work instructions while mentoring technicians on the shop floor.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Engineering and 4+ years in manufacturing, with hands-on CNC, CAD (SolidWorks), ERP, and Power BI experience. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 4+ years in manufacturing (aerospace or high-spec environments preferred).
• Hands-on experience with CNC machining, tooling, and production equipment.
• Strong background in lean/continuous improvement (Kaizen, A3, Poka-Yoke).
• Proficiency with CAD (SolidWorks) and manufacturing systems (ERP, Power BI a plus).
• Ability to read technical drawings and drive data-based decisions.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and optimize production processes for aerospace components.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cost and increase throughput.
• Partner with engineering to troubleshoot and implement design improvements.
• Develop and maintain clear work instructions, procedures, and test methods.
• Support prototyping, tooling, and CAM programming activities.
• Mentor technicians and promote best practices on the shop floor.
• Evaluate suppliers, materials, and production readiness.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
