Job summary

Gemline is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead continuous improvement across its Lawrence, MA site. You will design production equipment and fixtures, implement Lean methods, and partner with production, development, quality, and maintenance teams to optimize throughput and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong CAD/3D modeling skills with SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Experience implementing Lean tools and continuous improvement.
• Hands-on automation/robotics exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects to improve throughput, yield, and ergonomics with Lean-based improvements.
• Design and modify production equipment, tooling, and fixtures using CAD and rapid prototyping.
• Drive automation initiatives to improve safety and capacity on the shop floor.
• Coordinate capital projects from justification to installation and start-up.
• Mentor cross-functional teams and document standard work and processes.
