Job summary

The role involves collaborating with process engineers to develop fixtures, tooling, and shop-floor improvements, plus creating SOPs and estimating job costs. Required are a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 1+ year experience; proficiency with SolidWorks, AutoCAD Mechanical, Autodesk Inventor;

Responsibilities

• Monitor and improve efficiency, output, and safety of manufacturing processes.
• Evaluate, implement, and monitor processes and systems for manufacturing.
• Create and maintain standard operating procedures.
• Assess labor and material variance in production facilities.
• Data collection of labor times and material scrap; streamline processes.
• Collaborate with process engineers to create fixtures, tooling, and shop-floor improvements.
• Support the conversion of small-scale processes into large-scale operations.
