Job summary

ADP in Casa Grande, AZ, is seeking an Industrial Engineer to enhance manufacturing flow using lean principles. You will drive process improvements, create SOPs, and collaborate with process engineers to scale operations while ensuring quality, cost, and efficiency.

The position emphasizes data-driven problem solving, hands-on process development, and cross-functional teamwork to optimize shop floor performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing/process engineering.
• Willing to consider internship.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and improve the efficiency, output, and safety of manufacturing processes through observations and data collection.
• Evaluate, implement and monitor processes for manufacturing of products.
• Create/edit/maintain standard operating procedures within the company.
• Assess labor and material variance within production facilities.
• Data collection of labor times, material scrap, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with process engineers to create fixtures, tooling, and shop-floor improvements.
• Support product testing and observe testing processes as needed.
• Design technical layouts for shop equipment inputs and building grounds.
• Assist in scaling small-scale processes to large-scale operations.
• Work with others on quality control of raw materials and materials specs.
• Estimate shop job costs for accurate manufacturing costs.
