Job summary

Riverstone Logistics is seeking a Returns Coordinator to support the site leadership and ensure operational effectiveness for a client location. The role focuses on planning, scheduling, and managing returned inventory at the end of motor carrier routes in a warehouse setting.

Main duties include adhering to LEAN principles, following SOPs for returns, and ensuring KPI targets are met while coordinating with carriers and clients. Extended hours and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Strong people and operational management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with routing, scheduling, and checking on delivery status.
• Ability to embrace new technology.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to LEAN six sigma principles throughout the warehouse.
• Follow SOPs for the product return and truck check-in process each day.
• Ensure accuracy with reason codes for each item that is returned to the facility.
• Ensure timely reporting of returns compliance.
• Ensure key performance indicators are met.
• Support for activities related to dispatching, routing, and tracking transportation.
• Support an environment that fosters open and positive team communication.
• Build a strong rapport with our Motor Carriers and clients.
• Holds Motor Carriers accountable for returned/damaged product and reports findings to site leadership.
• Communicate daily/shift goal of facility and group(s); devise, communicate and implement plans to obtain operational goals; work with and motivate employees to ensure goal achievement; provide progress or constraint updates to management and implement corrective measures as needed.
