Job summary

MACNY seeks a Manufacturing Trainer to deliver high-quality training programs that support member performance and growth, with emphasis on lean, quality, project management, leadership, communication, and sales/business development. The trainer adapts content to diverse manufacturers and organizational cultures.

This role requires 3–5 years of manufacturing experience, excellent facilitation and presentation skills, and the ability to build relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering training in manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or CI.
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
• Ability to engage diverse audiences.
• Experience in leadership or supervisory training.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate a wide variety of training programs on lean, quality, and leadership.
• Develop facilitator guides, materials, presentations, and activities.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and suggest improvements.
• Work with manufacturers to understand workforce challenges.
• Identify learning needs and recommend solutions.
• Build client relationships through consultative interactions.
• Represent MACNY at workforce events and industry meetings.
• Travel up to 50% within Upstate New York.
