Job summary

Jacobs in the United States is seeking a Lean Specialist to lead Lean and Continuous Improvement on a hyperscale data center project in Spartanburg, South Carolina. This on-site role collaborates with the Director of Lean Implementation to drive design, procurement, construction and CQV activities.

You will train internal staff, vendors, and trade partners; facilitate the Last Planner System events; and manage the LPS software, while advancing 5S, visual management and related lean practices.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or construction management.
• 5+ years in design/construction with manufacturing, life sciences, or EPCM projects.
• Proficiency in Last Planner System; knowledge of 5S and CI desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead Lean and CI for Life Science projects in the U.S.
• Stand up Last Planner System and facilitate LPS events.
• Manage LPS software and train Jacobs personnel and trade partners.
• Coordinate lean with safety, digital delivery, offsite fabrication and IPD.
