Job summary

BlueBin in New Orleans, LA is seeking a Program Specialist to implement and maintain inventory management systems in healthcare settings. This on-site role requires detail orientation, proactive problem-solving, and strong Lean knowledge to drive process improvements.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, install racks, manage labeling, provide post-install training, and monitor inventory to ensure timely replenishment.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in inventory management or supply chain operations is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data management tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Team collaboration and effective communication with teammates.
• Proactively identify challenges and implement effective solutions using BlueBin concepts and tools.
• Maintain an organized workspace and understand the BlueBin system.
• Assemble and install racks and hardware according to SOPs.
• Ensure accurate labeling and efficient bin fitting for inventory.
• Assist with system installations and provide post-installation support and training.
• Conduct Gemba walks to observe, gather feedback, and improve processes.
• Create accurate room layouts and develop space optimization plans.
• Perform final quality checks on racks to minimize errors.
• Use BlueQ technology and Excel for data management and reporting.
