Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• 3–5 years industrial engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Experience documenting standardized work procedures.
• Knowledge of time study and motion analysis.
• Ability to use CAD tools (AutoCAD) for layouts.
• Comfort working with unionized environments and different communication styles.

Responsibilities

• Implement industrial engineering best practices and processes.
• Design safe, quality, and efficient work operations with high integrity.
• Maintain accurate time studies and standard time data.
• Maintain workstation layouts using AutoCAD.
• Drive continuous improvement and eliminate waste.
• Support line balance and production trials.
• Reduce cost by improving productivity metrics.
• Participate in lean manufacturing and GM Global Manufacturing System.
