Job summary

HEICO in Florida seeks an Industrial Engineer to analyze work flows and drive production improvements. You'll collaborate with lean teams to reduce waste, design efficient layouts, and implement standard work and PFMEA mindset.

You will perform time studies, develop management information systems, and support cost-reduction initiatives across the organization, ensuring safe and ergonomic production environments.

Responsibilities

• Drive out cost through process improvements and documented standard work instructions.
• Designs, redesigns or enhances work areas and layouts with respect for ergonomics and waste elimination.
• Maintains knowledge of best practices in manufacturing methods and trends and developments in technology and equipment.
• Works in conjunction with our lean team to improve process flow.
• Develops and maintains management information, planning and control systems.
• Implements methods and modifications to reduce production costs.
• Performs time studies to level load the manufacturing process.
• Implements PFMEA (Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis) mindset and process for our operators.
• Work across the organization to solve problems related to process outputs
• Develops, implements and communicates best practices.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
