ABB Installation Products Inc. in Mebane, NC, is seeking a Continuous Improvement Professional to deploy the local CI strategy and drive operational excellence on the shop floor.

You will mentor teams, lead improvement projects, and partner with Operations, Quality, and Leadership to sustain gains. Onsite role with Lean Six Sigma-informed methods, data-driven problem solving, and hands-on engagement on the shop floor to reduce waste, improve safety, quality and delivery while building capability

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing, operations, or a related field, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Established skills in Lean methodologies, structured problem solving, root cause analysis, process improvement, and waste reduction.
• Proven experience leading improvement projects and facilitating cross-functional teams, with the ability to translate opportunities into measurable results.
• Hands-on in a manufacturing environment, observing processes on the shop floor, engaging with frontline teams, and turning observations into improvement opportunities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead and execute hands-on continuous improvement projects delivering improvements in safety, quality, delivery, productivity, inventory, and cost.
• Spend time on the shop floor to observe processes, identify waste and opportunities, engage with employees, and understand problems at the source.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing and structured problem-solving methodologies to identify root causes, improve processes, reduce waste, and sustain results.
• Facilitate cross-functional workshops and improvement activities, coaching teams and building capability in CI tools and practices.
• Use data and performance metrics with direct process observation to prioritize opportunities, track project progress, and validate business impact and savings.
• Support standardization and sustainment of improvements through standard work, visual management, training, and follow-up.
