ABB in Mebane, NC, is seeking a Continuous Improvement Specialist to deploy strategy, mentor teams, and drive operational excellence. You will promote a culture of continuous learning and lead projects to improve local business performance.

In this role, you will coordinate material flow, monitor inventory, and apply Lean, 5S, Kanban and other methodologies to boost efficiency. Collaboration with operations, warehouse and procurement is essential.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations or related field.
• 3+ years in manufacturing, warehouse operations, materials management, or supply chain.
• Strong inventory control, material planning and warehouse operations knowledge.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Microsoft Dynamics or similar).
• Lean, Kanban, JIT and continuous improvement methodologies knowledge.
• Proficient in Excel with data analysis and reporting skills.
• Strong problem solving and effective communication skills.
• Candidates authorized to work in the US.

Mansioni

• Coordinate flow of materials through the facility from receiving to shipping.
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with procurement and planning teams.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, 5S, Kanban and related methods.
• Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to improve processes.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and bottlenecks; implement solutions.
• Create and track KPIs for inventory accuracy, availability, cycle times and warehouse performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and operational standards.
