Job summary

Electrolux Group in Springfield, TN, seeks a Press Manager to support the Press Team on 2nd shift, overseeing fabrication, enameling, silkscreen and gluing areas with a focus on production, scheduling, quality and people management.

This role emphasizes continuous improvement, safety, waste reduction, and cross-functional collaboration to drive manufacturing excellence. A bachelor’s degree with 5+ years (or 10+ years) plus Six Sigma/lean experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years of relevant experience or 10+ years of experience.
• Experience in Six Sigma or structured quality/ lean manufacturing environments.
• Demonstrated success in driving productivity improvements and waste-reduction initiatives.
• Proven ability to lead projects and drive change across a manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety across operations.
• Reduce waste, scrap, rework, and downtime to improve efficiency.
• Lead departmental continuous improvement projects to strengthen execution and results.
• Improve first-pass yield and component quality through process optimization.
• Coordinate with supervisors and hourly team members to foster learning and engagement.
• Ensure compliance with EMS standards and ISO 9000/14000 requirements.
