CP Industries in McKeesport, PA is seeking a Lean Coordinator to lead continuous improvement across the plant, partnering with production, quality, engineering, maintenance, and supply chain. You will own the Lean program, drive safety, quality, delivery, productivity and cost improvements, develop standard work, coach teams, and report KPIs to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Technology, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of manufacturing or continuous improvement experience.
• Proven track record leading Lean manufacturing initiatives with measurable results.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.
• Background in heavy manufacturing, machining, welding, fabrication, or assembly a plus.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, ASME, or military quality standards a plus.
• Hands-on expertise with Lean tools: 5S, Kaizen, VSM, standard work, visual management, and root cause analysis.
• Strong communicator and influencer across all levels.
• Data-driven problem solver who can turn analysis into action.
• Organized and effective at managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Lead Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.
• Facilitate Kaizen events, 5S activities, value stream mapping, and root cause analysis sessions.
• Analyze production data and process flows to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
• Develop, document, and implement standard work procedures with cross-functional teams.
• Coach and train employees, supervisors, and managers on Lean principles and tools.
• Monitor and report KPIs related to safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.
• Support facility layout improvements, workflow optimization, and visual management systems.
• Track and communicate project progress and outcomes to management.
• Champion a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.
