Job summary

TTI Consumer Power Tools, Inc. seeks an Industrial Engineer- Distribution for its Anderson, SC facility.

The role focuses on designing, testing, and implementing process and software improvements to optimize personnel, equipment, and material flow on the distribution floor. The position requires a 4-year engineering degree with 1–2 years of related experience, and experience with automated material handling, WMS/WCS, and SAP.

Qualifications

• Requires a 4-year degree in engineering, operations, or related field; with 1-2 years of related experience.
• Experience with complex automated material handling equipment and WMS/WCS systems.
• Demonstrated use of analytical skills to solve complex process issues.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve distribution efficiencies and reduce costs.
• Develop, test, and document improvement solutions; support new process implementations.
• Conduct time studies and balance lines/work cells to maximize productivity.
• Lead Lean/Kaizen events with logistics teams and drive cost-reduction initiatives.
• Develop and apply standard work, ABC costing, and network best practices.
