Job summary

TTI Consumer Power Tools, Inc. in Anderson, SC seeks an Industrial Engineer - Distribution to design, test and implement process and software improvements for the distribution floor, optimizing personnel and equipment utilization.

The role focuses on improving flow of people, process, and material across the facility. Responsibilities include leading Kaizen events, developing standards, conducting time studies, and coordinating with vendors on project requirements.

Qualifications

• Requires a 4-year degree in engineering, operations, or related field.
• 1–2 years of related experience.
• Experience with complex automated material handling equipment and systems including warehouse management systems and warehouse control systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve facility efficiencies while minimizing costs.
• Negotiate and communicate with internal/external partners, contractors, and vendors.
• Develop processes, procedures and testing of improvement solutions; maintain documentation.
• Provide production support for new process implementations.
• Conduct time studies to eliminate wastes, balance lines/work cells and maximize productivity.
