Job summary

Brunswick's Mercury Marine in Fond du Lac, WI, seeks a Manufacturing Systems Engineer to develop and sustain manufacturing systems, driving safety, quality, and productivity improvements across operations. You will leverage Lean principles and data-driven decision making, collaborating with Operations, Engineering, IT, Quality, and Program Management.

You will support new product introductions, ensure compliance, and help optimize processes with a focus on efficiency and cost performance,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of manufacturing, industrial, or engineering experience.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and Lean manufacturing.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support daily production by troubleshooting process and system issues.
• Identify and implement safety, quality, productivity improvements.
• Utilize Lean Manufacturing tools to eliminate waste and improve efficiency.
• Analyze manufacturing data to support process optimization and business decisions.
• Develop, maintain, and improve manufacturing execution systems and related processes.
• Create system specifications, statements of work, and qualification plans for new processes and technologies.
• Support implementation of manufacturing technologies and system enhancements.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, IT, and suppliers to resolve issues.
• Assist with audits, reporting requirements, and ISO-related activities.
